I used five different stock images, three being water/waves, one horse, and of course, John. There is, of course, a total of five layers. The rising water was originally black and white when I downloaded it, and since it's partially the focus of the image, I couldn't have it be some random color and not fit in properly, so all the color in the other photos had to go.
